Alan R. Kidd

Mr. Al Kidd became the Executive Director of the San Diego Hall of Champions Sports Museum in June of 2003. Prior to this role, Mr. Kidd’s career was in advertising, marketing, and education. Mr. Kidd also started ARK Enterprises, a venture capital company and business consulting practice. After going to the University of Toledo on a baseball scholarship, Mr. Kidd completed his undergraduate studies by earning a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics and physical education, with an emphasis in pre-med, from Bowling Green State University.

The Balboa Park Cultural Partnership serves as the collaborative body and collective voice for 26 arts, science, and cultural institutions in Balboa Park. Together we achieve greater effectiveness, innovation, and excellence and contribute to the vitality and sustainability of Balboa Park. Our collective 500 trustees, 7,000 volunteers, and 3,500 staff serve more than 6.2 million visitors annually.
