David Kinney

Mr. David Kinney has worked in Balboa Park for 23 years. After working at the Museum of Photographic Arts for 14 years, he became the Executive Director of the House of Hospitality Association in 1997. As a representative of the Balboa Park Cultural Partnership, Mr. Kinney facilitates the Central Balboa Park Assembly and serves on the City’s Balboa Park Committee. Mr. Kinney received a B.A. from San Diego State University.

The Balboa Park Cultural Partnership serves as the collaborative body and collective voice for 26 arts, science, and cultural institutions in Balboa Park. Together we achieve greater effectiveness, innovation, and excellence and contribute to the vitality and sustainability of Balboa Park. Our collective 500 trustees, 7,000 volunteers, and 3,500 staff serve more than 6.2 million visitors annually.
