The LEED Green Associate (GA) is the first step for professionals who want to demonstrate green building expertise in non-technical fields of practice; GBCI has created this credential, which denotes basic knowledge of green design, construction, and operations. For those who would like to pursue the LEED AP + Specialty, you must first become a LEED GA.
