The San Diego Air & Space Museum’s mission is to celebrate aviation and space flight history through preservation of significant artifacts, presentation of dynamic exhibits, and commemoration of the men and women who forged aerospace history; to educate the public about the social and historical significance of aerospace technology and its promise for the future; and to inspire students to excel in technology, mathematics and the sciences, and encourage all visitors to become life-long learners in support of aerospace advancement. The San Diego Air & Space Museum contains the only International Aerospace Hall of Fame. Its Library and Archives is also the third largest aerospace library in the nation and holds many unique, rare and one-of-a-kind items.

The Balboa Park Cultural Partnership serves as the collaborative body and collective voice for 26 arts, science, and cultural institutions in Balboa Park. Together we achieve greater effectiveness, innovation, and excellence and contribute to the vitality and sustainability of Balboa Park. Our collective 500 trustees, 7,000 volunteers, and 3,500 staff serve more than 6.2 million visitors annually.
