Timken Museum of Art

The mission of the Timken Museum of Art is to preserve the world-class Putnam Foundation Collection of European old masters, American art, and Russian icons for the education and benefit of present and future generations of San Diego area residents and visitors. The museum celebrates the important role of art as a way of enriching lives and nurturing the creative spirit in each of us. In addition to providing free access for all museum visitors, the museum presents diverse and stimulating educational programs and opportunities for various audiences.
