What is the Living House Exhibit?
San Diego Regional Sustainability Partnership (SDRSP) a local nonprofit, has proposed a futuristic, sustainable Living House Exhibit for Balboa Park’s 2015 Centennial Celebration in partnership with the Japanese Friendship Garden and the Balboa Park Cultural Partnership’s Sustainability Program.

$4 Million in Energy Effiency is Underway in Balboa Park

In 2010, The Balboa Park Partnership (the Partnership) was awarded $2 million of the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) to implement energy efficiency projects in Balboa Park institutions.
Balboa Park Sustainability Walk-About is a Success

Local leaders in environmental studies got a first hand look at the sustainable practices and ambitions of 5 museums, including the Park’s two LEED certified buildings: San Diego Natural History Museum and Reuben H. Fleet Science Center. The purpose of this series is to expand community awareness of the value of energy efficiency and sustainability practices, while showcasing the amazing institutions of Balboa Park.
