Elizabeth Castillo

Director of Development

Elizabeth Castillo, Director of Development, leads fundraising and marketing efforts for the Partnership. She also assists with strategic planning and research projects for new initiatives, including organizational learning, collaboration, and strategic thinking in nonprofit organizations. Elizabeth has more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit management and fundraising. She holds a master's degree in Nonprofit Management and Leadership at the University of San Diego. As a child she attended the Balboa Park 5th Grade program, planting the seed for her lifelong interest in arts and culture. She is an avid hiker and nature photographer.

The Balboa Park Cultural Partnership serves as the collaborative body and collective voice for 26 arts, science, and cultural institutions in Balboa Park. Together we achieve greater effectiveness, innovation, and excellence and contribute to the vitality and sustainability of Balboa Park. Our collective 500 trustees, 7,000 volunteers, and 3,500 staff serve more than 6.2 million visitors annually.
