What We Do

The Balboa Park Cultural Partnership conducts programs and participates in public policy that impact sustainability, collective business operations, learning and promotion of Balboa Park. The Partnership facilitates member collaboration, helping each to save money through economies of scale, adopt sustainable business practices and advocate effectively for issues that impact the park and the cultural community in San Diego. These programs not only invigorate museum professionals but also introduce new generations to the rewards of working in the profession.

The Balboa Park Cultural Partnership serves as the collaborative body and collective voice for 26 arts, science, and cultural institutions in Balboa Park. Together we achieve greater effectiveness, innovation, and excellence and contribute to the vitality and sustainability of Balboa Park. Our collective 500 trustees, 7,000 volunteers, and 3,500 staff serve more than 6.2 million visitors annually.
